Bruce Carrington A Seller in Leisure Village As a second-generation friend of the Dave Barlow Realty Company, I want to thank and commend Dave and his team for a job well done. I am a second generation, as my parents used Dave to buy their house in Leisure Village over ten years ago. My parents were always very complementary of Dave and his family, as they really cared about their customers. My dad, who is very picky, thought the world of Dave because he could talk “technical” about the house. My dad was an engineer. When you gained that respect from my dad, you are in rarified company. My mom loved Dave’s newsletters and reports and read them thoroughly. Most of all, any transaction was the beginning of a fond relationship with the Barlow family. Every time our family (from Rancho Palos Verdes) visited Leisure Village to see my folks, either one or both of my parents would show my wife and I literature from the Barlow’s, they were very proud of the fact that we could get to know a very special family. About a year and half ago my father died, which left my mother alone, but the friends in the church and Leisure Village were there for her. I visited every weekend, but she knew if she needed anything Dave Barlow was there as well. About five months ago, my mother died of cancer, and as trustee for the estate, I called Dave Barlow to help assess and represent the estate in its sale. I know that both of my parents would be pleased, (I also know they would kill me otherwise). Dave handled everything, including the Leisure Village T’s and C’s. Although I could only be there on weekends, Dave and his team worked around my schedule. When the condo went into escrow, Dave and his team were there every step of the way. There were several stumbling blocks with the Leisure Village board, but Dave and his team worked hard to turn them into “stepping stones”. Although it is easy to say, “that’s their job”, I am convinced that the sale of the property was indeed due to Dave and his team’s constant vigilance and the desire to create a positive atmosphere that enabled the sale. My parents were right, and I whole-heartedly agree, the best real estate company in town is Barlow Williams Realty. A very satisfied customer and friend
